As a new mother of a special needs baby I was doubted my capabilities to take care of my precious family. However practicing Yoga has helped me bring about positive changes in my life, cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness. I am a formally certified Hatha Yoga teacher. I have always been passionate about mental health, physical wellbeing and nutrition. Today I want to share this knowledge of yoga and yogic diet with others. I am especially interested in the therapeutic aspect of Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing which can help heal individuals and families with emotional and health challenges. With emphasis on breath control, practicing yoga regularly can be liberating and help us heal our heart and our mind by focusing on the present moment. I have done my Yoga Teacher Training with Sivananda Yoga Vedanta, which follows a traditional Hatha Yoga path. It focusses on meditation, postures, positive thinking, yogic diet and spirituality. Hatha Yoga is a slow and steady practice which helps in building a strong body and steady mind by maintaining correct postures and alignment along with concentration on the breath and awareness of the mental state. I am certified to teach prenatal yoga, yoga for seniors and Yoga to people with disabilities.
