Nighat is maintaining a Registered Behavior Technician credential from BACB (USA) and a Professional early years practitioner (CACHE level 3). She is a Special Education teacher and an ABA practitioner with 5 years of experience teaching children with intellectual disabilities particularly those diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and gene mutation TBL1XR1 (a rare disease) who have problems with communication skills, social skills and academic skills.

She has past experience as a special educator, skilled in speech delays/ articulation issues, Behavior problems and dyslexia with a diploma in SEND and PECs trained by pyramid consultants. Her bilingual gives her an edge to work in English, Hindi and Urdu.

She has given therapies in different environments such as home settings and classroom settings. Training LSA and parents to help children is her motto when working as a team. These experiences have helped her blossom to become a more well–rounded and compassionate individual, who takes each student’s unique goals, needs and interests into account, and provides interactive sessions to achieve goals.

Her greatest capability is facilitating all styles of learners. She develops multisensory lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of the auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic learners. She also incorporates various forms of technology manipulative, and music to teach new concepts and materials.

Nighat got her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician in 2019 where she worked as a Registered Behavior therapist in Dubai. She was exposed to training from various BCBAs’ that made her capable of conducting quality behaviour therapy sessions for her clients. She also possesses knowledge of different kinds of assessment tools namely VBMAAP and CARS assessments.

Currently Working as a full-time Registered Behavior Therapist at Hope-AMC.
