Ishara Ravihari is a licensed Speech & Language Pathologist with extensive experience across clinical, hospital, educational, and private practice settings. She specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive- communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults.

Her therapeutic approach combines evidence-based methods, cultural sensitivity, and measurable outcome monitoring to ensure meaningful, functional progress. Ishara holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech & Hearing Science where she received comprehensive academic and clinical training in communication sciences and rehabilitation.

Ishara has advanced expertise in pediatric feeding and dysphagia, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (DTTC), AAC intervention, and oral-motor rehabilitation. She is skilled in creating individualized treatment plans that promote functional communication and long-term success. She is equally committed to empowering families through structured caregiver coaching and practical home-based generalization programs.

Beyond her clinical practice, Ishara has contributed to scientific research as the principal investigator of a dysphagia screening tool for children with cerebral palsy—a study presented at leading scientific forums including the ASHA Convention (USA). Her strong commitment to ongoing professional development reflects her dedication to improving communication outcomes for individuals and families.
