Occupational Therapist
Diksha Kumari is a DHA-licensed Occupational Therapist who helps children build the skills and confidence to participate more independently in everyday life. Her experience spans pediatric developmental therapy, neurological rehabilitation, sensory integration, and functional independence across hospital, school, and community settings.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, New Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy specializing in Neuro-Rehabilitation from SVNIRTAR, Cuttack, where she graduated first in her batch.
Diksha supports children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, sensory processing and motor difficulties, and challenges with attention, emotional regulation, and self-care. Through individualized assessments and purposeful, play-based interventions, she works toward meaningful goals—from dressing and playing to engaging in classroom activities and developing school-readiness skills.
Her experience at Klay Preschool in Bangalore strengthened her collaborative approach to supporting children in their learning environments. She works closely with parents and educators to translate therapy goals into practical strategies that can be carried into home and school routines.
Her broader clinical background includes adult neurological rehabilitation, with experience supporting individuals following stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and peripheral nerve injuries. This complements her understanding of movement, cognition, and everyday function.
