Occupational Therapist
Renu Joshi is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background across hospital, clinical, academic, and school-based settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Disabilities and a Master’s degree specializing in Neurological Conditions from the Indian Spinal Cord Injury Centre.
Renu has worked extensively in ICU, inpatient wards, and outpatient departments, providing occupational therapy services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Her clinical experience includes developmental delays, pediatric neurological disorders, acquired brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and other neurological and functional impairments.
In addition to her clinical work, Renu has served as an Assistant Professor, contributing to teaching, mentoring, and research. Her academic experience has strengthened her ability to integrate clinical reasoning with evidence-based occupational therapy practice.
Renu also has significant experience in school-based occupational therapy, supporting children with diverse developmental, sensory, and learning needs. She works closely with teachers and families to promote functional participation, independence, and meaningful engagement within the classroom and daily school routines.
She strongly believes in inclusion, accessibility, and participation for individuals of all ages and abilities. Her therapeutic approach is holistic, client-centered, and function-oriented, focusing on skill development, dignity, confidence, independence, and quality of life.
